What is an AI rap generator?

An AI rap generator turns lyrics into a rap song: it builds a beat in the style you choose and raps the words over it with a generated voice, keeping the rhythm of each bar. As a rap song maker, it raps your own lyrics as written, or writes them from a topic first, and the hooks can be sung while the verses are rapped.

What this AI rap generator does

A beat that fits the bars, a voice that keeps the flow, and lyrics that stay yours.

A rapper performing her bars into a microphone

Your bars, rapped word for word

Mark the parts with [Verse] and [Hook] and the AI rapper follows them: the verses are rapped on the beat and the hook comes back each time it is written. Lines you rewrote stay exactly as you wrote them.

8 beats, each with its own flow

Boom bap at a laid-back 90 BPM, trap and drill around 140, old school party breaks, conscious soul, melodic rap, lo-fi jazz and a raw freestyle beat. Each style sets the drums, the bass and the delivery of the voice.

No lyrics yet? Start from a topic

Describe the rap, such as "a birthday rap for grandma" or "Monday morning against my alarm clock", and AI writes the bars in the style you picked before rapping them. Or write them first in the rap lyrics generator and send them here.

A female, male or automatic voice

Pick the voice that suits the bars, or leave it on automatic and let the beat decide. Add words like "laid-back", "fast" or "gritty" to the description to shape the delivery.

Lyrics that light up as they are rapped

Play a finished rap and each line lights up as it is rapped, so you can follow the flow, learn the words or check a bar before you share it.

Download the rap and its lyrics

Every rap downloads as an MP3, and the lyrics come with it as text, ready for a video caption, a lyric card or a performance.

How to get a great rap from an AI rap generator

Write lyrics the AI rap generator can rap

One line is one bar. Keep the bars of a verse close in length, about ten to fourteen syllables for boom bap and a little less for trap, and the AI rapper keeps an even flow. Long bars get rushed; very short ones leave gaps.

Label the parts: [Verse] for the rapped sections and [Hook] for the part that repeats. A hook of four short lines works best, and the AI rapper often sings it, which makes it stick.

Write the lyrics in the rap lyrics generator first: it counts the syllables of every bar and colours the rhymes, so you can fix the flow before you spend 60 credits.

Pick the beat: what each style sounds like

Each beat style sets the tempo, the drums and the delivery.

1Boom bap: dusty drum breaks and deep bass around 90 BPM, for stories and wordplay.
2Trap: rolling hi-hats and heavy 808 bass around 140 BPM, short punchy bars, a melodic hook.
3Drill: sliding bass and syncopated drums, a staccato flow.
4Old school: funky breaks and record scratches, party energy and call and response.
5Conscious: a warm soul sample and live bass, clear storytelling.
6Melodic: airy guitars and pads, a half-sung flow.
7Lo-fi jazz: mellow electric piano and vinyl crackle, relaxed and close.
8Freestyle: a minimal head-nod beat and a raw, quick flow.

Verses rapped, hooks sung

In most of the samples on this page the verses are rapped and the hook is sung or chanted, the way many rap songs work. A melodic or lo-fi beat leans further toward singing; boom bap and drill keep the bars tight and spoken.

Make an AI rap song for an occasion

A birthday rap that names the birthday person, a classroom rap that remembers the water cycle, a hype track for the team before the final: write the lyrics around details only you know, and the AI rap song generator does the rest.

Diss tracks and battle raps work too when they are aimed at a made-up character, such as the family cat against the family dog.

Original raps, no copied voices

Every rap is new: the beat is made for your lyrics and the voice is generated. It does not imitate real rappers or rap existing songs, so a request that names a famous artist is stopped before any credit is used. Describe the sound you want instead, such as "confident, fast flow over a dark beat".
